Modern Family is one of the most popular shows on television and the cast has become media sensations. Many of the actors were young when the show began and have grown up on screen over the past 13 years. A few of the actors have also gone on to find success after the show wrapped.
Ty Burrell won two Emmys and earned six nominations for his work as Phil Dunphy on Modern Family. After the show ended, Burrell has had an impressive career, landing roles in a few movies and a recurring role on the hit Fox series The To Do List. He also starred in the FX series The Sterling Affairs as Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, which was based on ESPN 30 for 30.
Sarah Hyland grew up as Haley Dunphy on Modern Family and is now one of the most in-demand young actresses on TV. She has a number of TV and film projects in the works, including My Fake Boyfriend, Pitch Perfect 3, and a new spin-off of Pitch Perfect called Bumper in Berlin. She has also appeared in a few reality shows, like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and America’s Got Talent.
Eric Stonestreet portrayed the flamboyant Cameron Tucker on Modern Family and went from being a regular guest star to a recognizable TV star after the show ended. He’s had a busy life since the show wrapped up, appearing on the show’s spin-off Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and the reality competition show Domino Masters. He’s also been involved with a few projects in the comedy world, including a Netflix movie and a Broadway revival of Take Me Out.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson acted as Mitchell Prichett on the hit ABC series and he’s also been very busy since Modern Family ended. He’s appeared on several other shows, including American Dad and Curb Your Enthusiasm. He’s also a host of a podcast called The Eddy, and he’s starring in the upcoming 2023 movie Cocaine Bear.
Rico Rodriguez portrayed Manny Delgado on Modern Family and has a few other acting credits under his belt, including The Lion Guard, Endgame, Babysitters Beware, and Cory in the House. He also has a few business ventures going on, such as his own comedy show, The Toy Box.
The rest of the Modern Family cast has also been very active in the industry since the show ended, with some actors going on to find even more success than others. For example, Ariel Winter landed the role of Alex in Disney’s Frozen 2 and The Catch after her time on Modern Family came to an end.
